Description
This official Fender Stratocaster Mid Boost Kit has everything you need to add the tone circuit from Eric Clapton’s signature Strat to your own guitar. The kit includes an active circuit that adds up to 25 dB of mid range boost adjusted via the tone potentiometer, turning it clockwise boosts mid and bass frequencies while decreasing treble frequencies (second tone knob on Clapton Strat) and the Fender Treble Bass Expander (TBX), a stacked tone potentiometer which functions as a standard tone control from 1 to 5 (rolling off high frequencies as you turn it down), after which it adds bass and treble, increasing brightness and presence as you turn it up (first tone knob on Clapton Strat). Included is a white tone knob for the TBX pot, replacement 50 k volume pot, replacement stereo jack and all mounting hardware.
